The Reinforced Soil Embankent (R.S.E.)
Shadow Panel is one of our original precast panel systems.
It has many advantages in construction over other systems.
Each panel is 12.5’ long 2’ tall and has two
columns that are 11” wide; these columns give the
panel enough stability to allow backfilling and compaction
directly behind the panel without moving them.
The soil reinforcement mats drop
into grooves that are cast in the top and bottom of
the panels (no pins or bolts required) and one of the
contractor’s favorite features is the in and out
shape of the panels. It can hide a multitude of sins
and alignment.
