Hilfiker’s Welded Wire Wall can be designed for a variety of different facing options, which are usually driven by either preferred aesthetics or available backfill.
The backing mat used at the face has 4”x3” openings, so if backfill is smaller than the wire spacing, then a welded or woven screen with a ¼” or smaller opening is added to keep the fill from falling out the face of the wall.
